HPP technology and its main components

HPP stands for High-Pressure Processing, which is a method of preserving food products using high pressure rather than heat. 

This process helps to extend the shelf life of food while retaining its nutritional value and taste.


Key components of a typical High-Pressure Processing system include:


Pressure Vessel: This is a chamber where the food products are placed for processing. It is designed to withstand the high pressures

 used during the treatment.


High-Pressure Pump: The pump is responsible for generating the high pressures required for the processing. It pressurizes the water

Loading and Unloading Mechanism: This component facilitates the loading and unloading of food products into and out of the pressure
